Coaching and Development

In 2005 the club became one of the first in Hampshire to receive ECB Club Mark Status which indicates we are a well run and a safe club for juniors.

This was followed by ECB Focus Club status for Central Hampshire.

Over 180 enthusiastic youngsters presently attend the Clubs regular weekly coaching courses. Holiday courses are especially popular.

We are proud of our strong coaching team of over 20, many of whom are ECB Level 2 or above.

The strength of youth cricket at St Cross has produced both team and individual success. There are currently 12 junior and three senior players representing Hampshire County sides.

Additionally we have had 3 players contracted to first class counties: James Adams, currently Captain of Hampshire, John Francis formerly of Hampshire and Somerset and Simon Francis formerly at Hampshire, Notts and England A
