Stats
The statistics included are from the 2007
score-sheets that were made available.
Players have been allocated to a team and type
of player according to these statistics.
The star rating is based purely on averages and
points scored last season.
Points have been assigned from the statistics as
below.
Please bare in mind that the ladies team play
fewer fixtures, they have 12 in 2008.
2007 Rules
Participants must select a team of eleven
players.
The team must include 4 batsmen, 2 all rounders,
1 wicket keeper and 4 bowlers.
There must be 2 players from each SCSCC men’s
team and 1 from the ladies’ team.
The total star rating of the fantasy side cannot
exceed 37.
Fantasy teams can be entered at any time during
the year.
Points can not be backdated for entries after
June 2nd.
Jimmy still does not score any points for
Hampshire matches.
The entry fee for each fantasy team is £10.00
(please enclose a separate cheque to subs etc
with the entry form). All money received goes
towards the upkeep of the grounds.
Two players may be substituted during the season
– above rules must still be adhered to.
Failure to submit a valid team will result in a
random selection being made on your behalf.
Prizes will be awarded at the end of the season
for the most successful teams.
How Points Are Scored
1 point is scored for every 10 runs scored in
one innings.
5 bonus points are scored for every half-century
reached.
1 bonus point is scored for not being dismissed.
2 points are deducted for every duck.
3 points are scored for every wicket taken.
5 bonus points are awarded for a 5-wicket haul
in one innings.
2 points are deducted for conceding 50 runs in
one innings.
5 points are deducted for conceding 100 runs in
one innings.
2 points are scored by wicket keepers for every
catch or stumping.
Examples: -
119 not out = 11pts (runs) + 10pts (half-century
bonus) + 1pt (not out) = 22pts
5-63 = 15pts (wickets) + 5pts
(5-wicket haul) – 2pts (50 runs) = 18pts
0+3c+1s = 8pts (dismissals) – 2pts (duck) =
6pts
23 + 2-27 = 2pts (runs) + 6pts
(wickets) = 8pts
This will only work if score-sheets are
returned to the SCSCC Fantasy League Team every
week. Please encourage your captain / scorer to
take a minute to fill in the form.

from Roland Fowler.
Please check the website for updates.
Results will be posted in the pavilions and on
the website frequently (hopefully weekly).
