Junior Club Rules

St Cross Symondians Cricket Club is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all its members. The club believes that it is important that members, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the Club should , at all times, show respect and be encouraged to be open at all times, willing to share any concerns or complaints they may have about any aspect of the Club with the Child Welfare Officer:

As a member of St Cross Symondians CC, you are expected to abide by the following Junior Club Rules;

  • Play within the laws and spirit of the game of cricket, observing all rules and respecting officials and their decisions.
  • Show respect for all opponents and guest of the club.
  • Keep to agreed timings for training and competitions, and it delayed, inform your Coach or Team Manager that you are going to be late. 
  • Wear suitable kit for training and match sessions, including appropriate footwear, a helmet, pads and gloves and a protector when batting, and / or as advised by the Coach / Team Managers. 
  • Pay any fees for training and event promptly. 
  • Except that junior members are not allowed to smoke on club premises or whilst representing the club at matches or competitions. 
  • Except that junior members are not allowed to consume alcohol or drugs of any kind on club premises whilst representing the club at matches or competitions.
