St Cross U13s became the Regional Winners of the South East Regional Championship putting them in the top 6 teams in England and Wales. They now play in the National Finals at Oakham School, Rutland on 10th - 12th August.

The results were as follows:

Semi Final
St Lawrence and Highland Court (Kent club champions) 102-8 in 20 overs
St Cross Symondians 103-7 off 17.3 overs won by 3 wickets

Final
St Cross Symondians 125-3 in 20 overs
Finchampstead 124-7 in 20 overs
St Cross Symondians won by 1 run

Both matches were rollercoasters, particularly the final where Finchampstead were 59-1 after 8.1 overs, collapsed to 64-6 after 10.2 overs. They then recovered and needed 22 from the last 4, 11 from the last 2 and 6 off the last over.

The Junior Section U11s U13s and U15s have all won the District leg of their County Cup Championships and this week they have each beaten opposition from one of the other Districts in the County Cup Semi Finals.

They now all play in the County Cup Finals next week:

Our U13s will play in the County Final of the ECB U13 National Club Championship

and our U15s will play in theCounty Final of the Nat West U15 National Club Championship, both taking place next Tuesday 5th July at Hursley Park starting at 6.00pm

Our U11s will play Bashley in the Final of The Alan Rowe Trophy U11 County Cup Championship at The Rose Bowl on Thursday 7th July 6.00pm start.

Last Sunday our U11 Girls won the 2011 Lady Taverners Club Competition (U11 South) at Petersfield and this Friday our U13 girls take part in the 2011 Lady Taverners Club Competition (U13 South) at Burridge
